The Knowledge Explorer allows you to organise your Objects under various user defined "Categories". This Editor Tab allows you to control the Classes of the Objects that can be 'created in' or 'moved to' each Category.
This Editor also allows you to re-order your Categories (by Clicking on a Category column and dragging it to a new position). Any change in the order on this Editor will be reflected in the order of Categories in the Knowledge Explorer.
For example, by default, Attributes cannot be placed under Procedures or dialogs, although you could enable this if you want to.
Typically, it is more useful when you create your own custom category, and want to specify what sort of objects the developer is allowed to move there.
