Splitting the Editor Pane

As the example below shows, the three tabs in the editor pane for Calculate_less_tax, Expenses and Claims enable you to switch between these three overlaid editors. The example shows the Claims editor in the foreground with Calculate_less_tax and Expenses in the background.

However, you may wish to view two editors at the same time. To achieve this, press the right mouse button on the Claims tab and choose Move to secondary tab control.

This should provide you with two visible editor windows.

To remove the secondary window either close the tab in it or drag the tab back up to the main window again.

If you open up more objects for editing they will always appear in the main top row of tabs. Just drag and drop any tab to swap them between the main and secondary windows.

As you select an object in one window that is a tab item in the other - note that it also makes the contents visible. For example, double-clicking in the secondary Claims windows on Calculate_less_tax will bring the Calculate_less_tax tab to the foreground in the main window.

Note that you can't have more than these two editor windows visible at once.
