Variable Editor control

The Variable Editor control TiedItem property specifies which Array Variable (String or Numeric) is to be captured by this control.

• Dim1 and Dim2 specifies the element dimension of the array.
• The MultiLine property enables word wrapping.

The following properties can also be used in XrClient & Ajax Deployments

• IsPassword property enables the entry of passwords to be hidden (XrClient & Ajax.Net deployments)
• MaskString property allows the input to the control to be restricted to a pre-determined format (Ajax .Net deployment only). The format is determined using the following convention;

            literal: !£€$%^&()_-+=;:@'~<,>./{}[]

            alpha: x

            numeric: #

            alphanumeric: *

            So for example mask: (###) ###-######

            captures the string value 6147776094 as (614) 777-6094
