Object Phrases Tab

Object Group Window

Boolean and List Objects can be dragged from the Knowledge Builder Explorer Window to this window and dropped. Boolean Objects appear in the window as just the name of the Attribute whereas List Objects will have an entry created for each of their values. If an Object is dropped on the Object Group drop down list box then a group will be created by that name and the Object placed in that group.

Object Group Button

Object Groups can be created and deleted using this button.

Find Text in Phrases and Synonyms Button

This button allows text to be searched for throughout the Object Phrase Tab.

Remove Selected Attribute / Value Button

Selected Objects can be deleted from the Object Group Window with this button. All phrases associated with that Object would also be lost.

Synonym Group Window

The developer can create lists of synonyms in user defined Synonym Groups in this window.

Synonym Group Button

Synonym Groups can be created and deleted using this button.

Add New Synonym Button

New Synonym Lists can be created with this button.

Delete Selected Synonym Button

Selected Synonym Lists can be deleted from the Synonym Group Window with this button.

Phrases Window

The Phrases Window shows all the phrases defined for the highlighted Object in the Object Window.

Show All Expanded Phrases

The right click menu option 'Show All Expanded Phrases' will list all the phrases that the system will search for that can be generated from the highlighted phrase in the Phrases Window and the Synonym Lists of that particular TextProcessor Object.

Synonym Conversion (Phrase to Synonym Conversion Dialog)

This right click menu option presents the developer with a further dialog allowing them to create the highlighted text as a new synonym or add the highlighted text to an existing Synonym List.

Add to Synonym Button

This button enables the developer to add text to an existing Synonym List.

Add New Synonym Button

This button enables the developer to create a new Synonym List.

Add New Entry Button

New phrases can be added to the Phrases Window with this button for the highlighted Object in the Object Group Window. The values of the weights can be adjusted in this window. A value of 1.0 represents a definite match for the True value of the Object and a value of –1.0 represents a definite match for the False value of the Object.

Delete Selected Entry Button

Selected Phrases can be deleted from the Phrases Window with this button.

Suggest Synonyms Button

This button will list possible synonyms for the highlighted text in the Phrases Window. The synonyms can then be copied and pasted into Phrases Window. The button will only appear if the 'synonyms.bin' file is present in the Knowledge Builder directory.

Synonyms Window

The Synonyms Window shows all the synonyms for the highlighted Synonym List in the Synonym Group Window.

Add New Entry Button

New synonyms can be added to the Synonyms Window with this button for the highlighted Synonym List in the Synonym Group Window.

Selected synonyms can be deleted from the Synonyms Window with this button.
